Yeah, it shows that on the 1st page of this thread. I don't know whether these are test files or not. Maybe some are...maybe some are not...maybe they are all test files...it is all hearsay and conjecture at this point. Be patient and wait until there is actually a legitimate release from MS through TechNet, then maybe we will find something factual out.
I dont know is it test updates or real updates but for me win 7 is faster now! I will see soon!
The 9xxxxx updates do look like real updates, though. The most interesting one is KB973751, which updates the setup. This is an update that doesn't do anything on a live system and makes sense only as slipstreamed onto the install DVD. It could be possible that Microsoft will release DVDs with this particular hotfix slipstreamed in (it won't be the first time that they had done something like that; e.g., releasing XP "SP2B" images to MSDN that are basically SP2 images with a hotfix slipstreamed). Note that none of this changes the fact that RTM is RTM and them slipstreaming a hotfix into the official media doesn't change RTM's status as RTM.
So is there details on what each hotfix is for yet?
Hi guys , if i update is the number changed ? How I can know that
I installed these updates and the build string has changed as mentioned above. You can find the locations at the 'My Digital Life' forum.
I think they fixed the monitor off/sleep problem. So far so good??
OMFG this does make your computer faster! LOL Windows 7 now runs faster than Ubuntu! WOW, Microsoft really has made windows 7 the fastest and most stable windows 7 yet.
Boots faster, opens COD 4 faster, Copys files faster, opens malwarebytes anti-malware faster.....
THANK YOU!
