    RealVNC not showing jumplist


    I have used RealVNC on several computers in our network. In the past, even when the VNC Viewer is pinned to the start menu, I have never gotten a jumplist of recently connected to computers.

    I recently installed it on another machine and it DOES have a jumplist of recently connected to computers. This is a great help and I would like to have it on other machines.

    Anyone know how to make a program (vncviewer.exe) show a jumplist?

    The support for Jumplists is a function of the application, I would check that the latest installation is the same revision as the previous ones. A lot of developers are adding windows 7 function support at the moment and it could be that a revision providing support is in only the latest version

    You were absolutely right. Installed the latest version and it is working now.

    I emailed RealVNC support and they told me it had nothing to do with RealVNC, onlu Windows.

Is it possible to pin anything to a program's shortcut in the taskbar? EX: I have Photoshop in my taskbar. Is it possible to pin some other adobe applications to it so when I right-click the PS icon, they appear in the jumplist?

IE8 and Jumplist

Is the jumplist thingy only doable for the IE8 icon in the taskbar if one clicks a saved link which resides on the HD? Somehow I got the impression that it should be populating the jumplist with sites visited within the browser, which would then give the option of course to pin them to the list....
