desk top full of files - help

    desk top full of files - help


    hi

    my desk top is full of files some over flowing where i cant access them

    i cant move files as the program im using cant find files if there moved

    how do my files on desk top smaller than small so more fit on

    ive try making a folder on the desk top but that does Not work.

    help

    Your desktop is actually just a specialized folder you can access with Explorer like any other folder. Its location depends on which OS you're running.

    For Windows XP it will be in C:\Documents and Settings\your Windows username\Desktop

    and for Vista and 7 it will be C:\Users\your Windows username\Desktop

    Once there, you can arrange your files and folders as you wish. Any changes you make will be reflected immediately on the actual desktop.

    hi rod, try this hold down ctrl key and scroll up or down to resize your desktop icons

    thats why im a guru
    you can also do it in an open window, click a empty space then ctrl and scroll.

    thanks for the rep corazon, couldnt leave a message on your homepage , you have messaging switched off, you can change it in user cp if its unintentional.
