help: boot stuck at blinking cursor

    Hi,

i've installed win7 b7600 on dell xps m1330. It has been running fine... maybe after 3,4 days now, this morning when i want to start, it stuck at blinking cursor... doesn't even load the windows... what is wrong here?...

I also install it before on PC... decided to the lo@der thing... after few restart and updates, it too stuck at the blinking cursor... i know not my hdd problem since i can reinstall windows7 using CD...

is there any way to recover my dell xps since i didnot backup yet... so don't want to reinstall...

but most importantly, i want to know what cause this?... can wicrosoft stop the windows loading after it install some update? i didn't ave warning of software counterfiet or anything... is this heading towards iPhone (disable unlegit apps), and kindle (remotely delete books), where they can do what ever they like to your machine?

If you have the dvd you used if one was burned with the 7 iso image that is you would boot up from that to perform a Startup Repair

That will solve that one fast! Don't worry I'm always installing a fresh copy of 7 somewhere here. (other sata drives, virtual hard disk on Virtual PC, virtual hard disk on Portable Virtual Box for usb flash, etc.)
