How do I get rid of or fix this application error? It's a long one

    Offtopic: System Mechanic has over 190 checks to see if the software is legal or not.

    It is without a doubt one of the worst applications on the market.

    There is countless application out there for free that are leaps and bounds better than System Mechanic

    Best to open a new thread about your "corrupt CD-ROM drivers" since this is a different issue. If you could provide more detail as to why you think they're corrupt and what behavior you observe...and what exactly you uninstalled and reinstalled.
