Sound help on Windows 7 required

    Sound help on Windows 7 required


    i've windows xp & windows installed on my hard disk. sound card & audio drivers are also installed. I can hear sound on windows xp but not on windows 7. Speakers are also connected properly. What should I do so that I hear sound from the filed which are being played on windows 7?

    the drivers need installing for each OS and it will be a different version of the driver for windows 7

    Welcome To Windows Seven Forums.

    Chances are you need to go to Control Panel in Windows 7 and set up your speakers from there as you say you have drivers installed.

    Make sure the Properties (advanced tab) are set to DVD or CD mode
