    SCREENSHOT MANAGER Wait When Shutdown

Have a frustration when 'Restart' or total 'Shutdown'.

When initiate either one, before the shutdown will complete, am told that the reboot must wait because the ScreenShot Manager is still running. Now, the wait is only for a couple of seconds then the shutdown completes ... so it's no big deal - just frustrating. But I'm wondering if there is something running that shouldn't be.

I do have 'Sticky Notes' running (have a couple of notes always there to remind me ... something have to do each week) and wonder if that causes the 'screenshot manager' to run.

i may be wrong but screen shot manager isnt a windows standard component (it maybe)

further trawling has told me that its a punkbuster file, for screen capturing.

if you dont ever wish to use it Start>Run> type msconfig > startup tab then untick it from the list if its present. then it wont start when windows does, and or unless you use the app. it might be punk buster itself starting up.

You're right ... am ashamed - quick Google search tells me that. (No ref to Screenshot Manager in MSCONFIG)
It was part of the Steam package ... uninstalled it and no shutdown wait

    Thanks - issue resolved
