Windows 7 x64 public beta installation problem

Hey, this is my first post on these forums

I tried to do a clean install of 64bit Windows 7, so I restarted my comp with the DVD in the DVD-Rom. It started OK and then also loaded all the files, but when it said Starting Windows I got a blue screen with this error: STOP: 0x0000007E
From what I saw, there are no similar problems discussed yet.
Im running on 32 bit Vista right now and my specs are:
AMD Athlon X2 64bt 4200+
4GB DDR
Gainward Geforce 7800GT
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe

I also have enough free space on my HD (100GB on each HD)

If anyone can help me, Id appreciate it

Could you post your computer specifications or fill in your System Specs so that you can assist you on this issue?

Strange problem indeed.
You can try updating your BIOS version to the latest one.
Logon to Vista, download and install the BIOS update for your motherboard from ASUS , and try again. Also, try disconnecting any suspicious devices during the install.

Run memory diagnostics tool to detect any possible problems with your RAM.

You might also try removing 2 Gigs of Ram and if you have any overclocks then you restore the defaults and if that doesn't work it might be that you have a bad disc copy, so you may need to burn it at a slower speed or download it again.

Ill try to update the BIOS, there is no problems with the RAM though as I've already checked that.

I didnt overclock anything on my comp, so everything is at default.
I burnt the DVD at 2x speed with Data verification completed successfully, plus I doubt that would be the problem if all the files all loaded at the beginning :-S

Thanx for trying though
