wanna go back to vista!

hey guys i have got the windows 7 rc ( see system specification) and i want to go back to vista. i have lost the vista installation cd and i phoned up for another one but they told me to buy a recovery disc, which i didn't want. because this is an acer laptop, it has a hidden partition called pqservice, that i have created access to (using easeus partition manager). from research i have found out that u can use that partition to recover ur computer to factory defaults. any ideas on how you use this partition to restore?
thanks to anyone who can tell me how to solve this.

Why do you want to go back to vista? Is there something you dont like about Windows 7 or something not working?

well, i just dont like the idea of having my lappy shutting down every hour when it comes near the expiry date and having to upgrade and download 2.5 gb worth out of 10 gb monthly usage. there isnt much improvement in the rc from vista apart from the task bar. i also liked the darker, cooler aurora themes of vista - seven log on screen is too bright and flowery!

Back to Vista! Id anticipated Windows 7 RC with relish, looking forward to improved speed, slick interface, new features. I now read all the many accolades in this and other forums with little cheer. All went well with the upgrade to my laptop (HP DV6680, Core Duo T7250, 4GB), everything...
