CPU usage 100% after fresh Install

    CPU usage 100% after fresh Install


    Hello,
    Just now finished installing a fresh copy of Windows7 and the CPU usage shows 100%. What chould be the issue ?

    Go to Processes tab and click on CPU. That will sort processes by CPU Usage. You'll see what's using your CPU.

    Click on Show processes from all users. And click on CPU column and then post screenshot.

    I see that svchost is using a lot of CPU. So right click on it and select go to Services...

    I am confused like which process to stop. Few of them are windows defender like

    Just to clarify.
    From a 'fresh' install?
    Or a re-image? This is when you have used a backup.

    I was using Windows XP and downloaded Win7 from Msdn ,formatted the system and installed win7
