never did find the reason lol - just seemed to stop on its own - its a windows thing lol - but least it went from - broken to fixed rather than the normal - working to broken. lol

I have a floppy drive as well, but many times it would come on with something trying to access it. I have disconnected mine too, never have used it with Win 7.
lol its like i said - windows wants to play silly b**g*ers - ill play - try and access the drive now it aint there haha.
