How to do something automatically within a program

Hi all,

I'm curious to whether this is possible, and I'm pretty sure it must be but I need to learn a little more first.

I want, at a certain time, firefox to launch a web page (already got this bit sorted) and then to press a button in firefox on a webpage. It's a radio streamer and I want the play button pressed.

Does it require a script? I'm not experienced at all with writing scripts unfortunately, one of the many things I have to learn.

Thanks for all replies,

A new program I am trying out is GotoCamera, a webcam tool. There is no way I can find in the software setup that allows it to start automatically when Windows starts. With Windows XP I could add it to a startup folder, but I don't think Windows 7 has one. How can I get GotoCamera to start...

Program to automatically close and open other programs?
When I'm running on battery power, I'd like to be able to close certain programs to save power (e.g. that send a smile/frown thing for MS Office 2010 beta, Skype, MSN, my dictionary program etc), but instead of closing them one by one, which is a bit of a kerfuffle, I'd like to able to do it with a...
