How to stop svchost.exe process

Hi, this svchost runs out of nowhere, most of the time it runs when I stop using the computer for like an hour or it runs when Norton is running a background performance, but even if Norton finished its job, the svchost won't stop. It happens once in a while, but sometimes it happens very frequently, it eats a lot of my cpu usage, when I end its process in the task manager, it kills my aero theme, restore my sounds, background to its default, etc. To end this svchost process back to normal I have to turn the pc off, even restarting it, it wont go away. So my question is, Is there a way to end this process in a safe way? i have attached an image of the services that this svchost is running, because there are around 8 or 9 svchost running at the same time. thanks

BTW, I am using windows 7, 64 bit

Svchost process slowly adds memory until programs start crashing
One of the svchost processes will slowly start to add memory to itself until it's eaten up enough to start crashing other applications. If I restart the computer, it will start over, but then the problem starts again. It's seemingly random when it starts to eat up memory. It could take a day to...

I am searching for reasons why a VPS server 2008 R2 that I am renting for my own business websites is using so many memory resources. For instance, I have been looking into a SVCHOST.EXE Process which is using 110MB of the server memory. By typing in 'tasklist /svc' in a command window and...

Help Me! I want to stop an autorun process! jp2launcher.exe
I was running Runescape, just for curiosity, and found a "Do you want jp2launcher.exe to run?" it isn't UAC'ed, so nothing to worry about unless I go back to that same page. I clicked on "Don't ask again". I want to undo those damn clicks I did. Lol. I don't want it to be saved, I realized I...

Word process doesn't stop
Why does MS Word not shut down properly? This happens occasionally and, I think, haphazardly. I go into task manager and even though I've closed the program, the Winword file remains, thus preventing my deleting Word's temp files. Thanks.

Stop 0x0a Irq_not_less_or_equal during boot process
I fixed my memory BSODs by getting some new RAM, but this BSOD is still giving me some issues. I've updated my drivers as best I could. Some I couldn't find any drivers for since I just got this system a week ago, and the Sandy Bridge stuff came out in January. Anyways, I'm running Windows 7...
