Changing languages from Italian to English (Windows 7 HomePremium 64b)

    Hi there,
I have this brand new HP laptop with a pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. The problem is the language is "Italian" and I need to change it to english. I've read some articles on the net and it seems that I have to pay for an upgrade or buy the ultimate edition to have the english language pack. Guys is there a way to change the language without "paying" a cent? let's say a workaround or something. Any suggestions are highly appreciated :) Thanks.

Thanks Jerry for the response. What if I reformat my new laptop and install a "Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit" (English) then activate using the same license? will it work?

Hi Dodong, welcome to the seven Forums.

Windows 7 licences are edition but not language dependant. What it means is that you can install an English Home Premium using the product key of an Italian Home Premium.

    You are good to go.
