    When you said "Ran the recovery and restored to factory" how exactly did you do this? Did you get to the restore option by using the "F" key at bootup, before Windows starts to load? This is important - please get back.

    Yeah, I went in through F prior to windows loading. Regardless I finally bit the bullet and called Dell. Something was corrupted. Took an hour on the phone but the problem's been fixed.
