    32 bit vs 64 bit video help


    i have a 32 bit system i want to know is there any advantage in getting a 64 bit system in terms of image quality and media playback is there any advantage in quality of video when getting a 64 bit system over a 32 bit one

    64, if the processor can
    will be seen all 4 gig, but with some prog will be a problem ..

    The only advantage would be if you had 4 GB or more of memory, and needed to be able to use it all. I would think a large media file would open quicker on a system with 8 GB of memory compared to one with 2 GB, but the quality won't be any different.

    No, it wouldn't. Media players never read the whole file into memory.

    Maybe not for simple playback, but if you try to do any kind of editing to large files, you will surely notice a difference with extra memory.
