Contact your system manufacturer - most sell replacement recovery media for $25-$30.

If full retail versions, contact Microsoft - How to replace Microsoft software

    Yes, follow pepplys link.

Its easy to do, done it many times for friends or clients that want to wipe and perform a clean install.

The .isos for Windows 7 can be downloaded from the usual, famous legit site run by Microsoft. You bought a key, so you are valid to install.

As for Office, do you need an Office suite installed? If you only do minor tasks, Office Live is free.

I bought the laptop in 2007, the software (including a separate MS project and MS Access) were in disk format and the keys lost along with the covers, i have no copy of the invoices! the fact is all of the software was lost while relocating and shipping! my vista is so slow that i thought if i move to windows 2007, i will be able to transfer my data to another laptop with a better performance.

For your Office, you are probably out of luck. The least you would need is the product key. But you can always use Open Office. That is freeware.

Regarding the upgrade, you can go ahead with a clean installation. But it must be on the same PC where the Vista was. It is an honor system, and you don't want to stretch it.

If it were possible to exchange the W7 home premium with W7 professional, do i still need to do a clean install, and if not do i need to back up my data before upgrading?
