Boot the Win7 DVD System Recovery Options
and run Startup Repair repeatedly. It should automate System Restore, but if not click through to the Recovery Tools list to run it manually to roll back to before you started Updating.

When Win7 starts, install the Updates in small groups starting with the drivers given in both Important and Optional Updates.

Each updates group will set a Restore point so that you can roll back if the group causes system to become unbootable.

If so install each of the updates in that group individually until you isolate the problem Update and restore before it, then post it up in our Updates forum or open a Support case via email on Windows Update website.

You may need to wait a little longer as sometimes it hangs on this screen for awhile.

You can try resetting the CMOS: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS.

Set DVD drive to boot first in BIOS setup, or use one-time BIOS Boot Menu key.

Check all cables and connections.

Try writing Win7 ISO which can be extracted with ImgBurn to flashstick using Universal USB Installer with Win7 in dropdown menu. Unplug DVD/CD drives if necessary to get it to boot using one-time BIOS Boot menu, listed under USB, REmovable, or HD's.

If these fail, wipe the HD to clear the boot sector and reinstall. Use free Partition Wizard bootable CD which will autostart on its own, select Disk>Wipe, which will force installer to autostart itself.

Follow these steps for Reinstalling Windows 7

PW will write to flash stick in it's paid version.

You can get 5 good quality CD's or DVD's on the wall rack at Walgreens for $2.

If you booted the DVD to install earlier then it should boot now. What changed?

No idea nothing changed from last time, the only difference that i have noticed (probably has nothing to do with the problem) is that the first time starting windows screen showed some colours of windows logo before it would freeze this time it wont even show the colours.I even tried installing from a flash drive same problem anyway im going to buy some dvds now and i will let you know.

Where did you get Win7 ISO? If wiping the HD doesn't help then I'd confirm the ISO or download another, burn to DVD at 4x speed using ImgBurn or write to flash stick.

Avoid popup "Save changes?" when nothing was changed in Excel doc?
Whenever I open some Excel docs to have a look at the content table and want to close it afterwards WITHOUT CHANGING ANYTHING then Excel (2003/2007) asks me if I want to save the changes. I think Excel automatically re-calculates embedded formulas even if I did not type in manually stuff. ...
