    Hi there
you need to disable (or enable) the ACPI AT BOOT TIME -- boot windows and hit DEL as soon as it starts booting or whatever key(s) the manual says for getting into the BIOS setup menu.

You'll need the key settings YOUR PC needs to get into the BIOS setup -- it's often either the DEL or the ESC key but look at your PC manual because they aren't all the same.

You'll find the settings in one of the BIOS configuration options.

Then when done you usually need to press something like F10 to save and exit. - the screen should prompt you.

You should find if you've done it correctly that Windows will then boot up.

    Cheers
