Run32 dll error

    Rundll error


    I get this error message after staring windows .
    There was a problem starting " msiwwy32.dll " . The specified module could not be found.
    What is this ? Please help !

    Have you tried option two from this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker ?

    type msconfig into your start-menu searchbox.

    please give us a screenshot of what appears on the 'startup' tab - this shows a list of programs that are set to run at every windows startup. i think one of them is giving your error message.

    Here it is . Thanks ! :)There are some other programs after scrolling but they are all disabled at start up The enabled programs are : Avast , Intel Common user Interface , Modem DEV service , Java Platform , Microsoft Encarta , Microsoft side bar , MSIDLL & Adobe gamma loader

    my guess is the MSIDLL program - try disabling that, then reboot. see if your error goes away. i wonder what the full command of it is. make the 'command' column wider to see the full entry.

    it's easy enough to re-enable if you think it's an important program.

    Finally solved ! Thank you The command is rundll32.exe msiwwy32.dll,fwBKOph ! I was amazed how this problem arose , because computer was fine few days ago

    hmm, i don't like the look of that fwBKOph stuff. try running a full malware scan to make sure you don't have anything nasty on your machine.

    Ooooo Avast scan shows 5 viruses+trojans !! . All deleted successfully ! :)
