hm... all you need is dism for integration. No need for vlite and other stuff. you mount wim with dism, unpack update and issue "DISM.exe /image:<DIR> /Add-Package /PackagePath:<PATH TO CAB>", commit&unmount wim and work is done.

you dont need OPK anymore, you can just download WAIK RTM, directly from MS.
I must be reading the wrong stuff, or I'm terribly confused here:

Applies To: Windows 7
This topic describes many of the new features available in this release of the Windows® Automated Installation Kit (Windows AIK).
Manage Images with the Deployment Image Servicing and Management Tool (DISM)
You can use DISM to customize Windows images in a variety of ways. For example, you can:
- Add or remove 32-bit and 64-bit device drivers.
- Add or remove language packs.
- Enable or disable Windows features.
- Add and configure updates.
The new DISM tools replace many of the tools in previous releases of the Windows AIK, .....
Nope its indeed not. DISM is part of windows :P you dont need WAIK/OPK anymore, for most of stuff. However i do know that dism is part of windows, but im not 100% sure that "wim mounting" driver is as well. Thing is, i always installed WAIK/OPK before i fidled with isos, so i dont know if you can mount iso with dism without "mounting driver" that WAIK/OPK provides (however since dism have this option it should be logicaly possible). And intergrating languages in to boot.wim means copying few license files and adding changed lang.ini in to "2nd" boot.wim image.
