    Windows 7 upgrade

When I built my computer the OS that I installed was Vista. I also had the ability to do a free upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium, and that is what I am now running. If I decede to install Windows 7 Professional, can I install the "upgrade" version, or do I have to purchase the full version ?

    Thanks

You can use Anytime Upgrade to get a price break, or buy a Pro Upgrade version and use Vista as the qualifier which may free up your HP Upgrade to migrate.

But how did you get Upgrade Kit on computer you built? It may be OEM tied to Vista so it can't migrate as most retail Upgrade versions can. You can sort this by calling MS Customer Service.
