    Menu size

Hi Guys, some of my Windows explorer menu's are different.

    For example:

Many files for example have a compact and small menu like AppData:

But some other files for example My Documents have a normal menu size:

I can always reinstall Windows, but is that really necessary?

    Thanks, Joe.

I'd try changing the theme and changing it back again, or running a SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker this should repair the problem, but if not, reply saying so

Changing and restoring theme failed, will SFC scan after anti-virus scans.

    Hello Joe,

This is perfectly normal for the width of the columns while in details view to vary from folder to folder. The tutorial below can help show you how to adjust them to how you would like them instead. :)

    Hope this helps,

Reboot and run the sfc /scannow at least 3 times with a reboot between each run. If you still show corrupt files which cannot be repaired you are likely facing a Repair Install

Too much effort; I'll just reinstall

OK, but I think 1347 updates are more effort.
