    did a fresh install of windwows 7 and everything works fine... but


    did a fresh install of windows 7 and everything works fine... but I have a Application and driver recovery cd
    when i did a fresh instal all the programes disapeard (works processor), do i need to put the "application and driver recovery cd in as well and run it.

    Check to see if you have a windowsold folder in the root drive, restore the programs to their original locations from that folder...

    You haven't said who manufactured your computer, but if you go to their support site you should be able to download the latest drivers and updated applications that were bundled with your computer if what you need is not on your driver disc.

    im a bit confused now, i put the "application and driver recovery" dvd in and it wont run, what should I do next. i have a presario cq61-402sa laptop

    Click on "Computer" .... does the CD/DVD drive show up? If so, click to open and see if it runs now.

    Insert the driver disc and open Windows Explorer (Windows + E keyboard combo) then double-click the drive with your driver disc in it.
