    Thanks, Ted. It's good to be here. As I said earlier, I shall probably wait until W7 finally hits the shelves before I actually install it (although I might install it before with the Beta, just to test it out and to check its performance with the latest Vista drivers). In the meantime, I shall peruse the site to see what others think of it, and to find out what, if any, pitfalls have been discovered (bearing in mind that it is still currently in Beta). A nice touch here is the Videos section, and I will be watching these with great interest as it is much easier to understand something if you can actually see it carried out.

    This looks set to become THE site for W7 - keep up the good work.

    Hello All!

    I am downloading Windows 7 right now on my laptop (currently Vista x64 on the laptop)

    I am posting from my Desktop PC (XP Professional).

    3.15GB total for Windows 7
    around 150-200 kb/sec transfer rate.. (MEH!)

First off I think Seven Forums is the best!! I can even tell you how much knowledge I gain here and although most here are much more advanced than I am the information is still in terms I can understand.:thumbsup: That being said what OTHER forums do you visit on a regular basis?
