windows 7 is very good. Keep patience until all the drivers are compatible and sitting pretty in your system.

Then its fun and you'll soon get bored when the honeymoon is over. Then wait for Windows 8 .... 9 ..... and keep hoping for the best and the rest. I hear then the Windows will be obsolete and future os will be linked to web browsers .... I'm not sure if got that right.

    Hi from Mark

    Howdy from Tennessee!
Just wanted to say Hi and I'm really enjoying Win 7. I've upgraded my kid's laptop to 7 already but didn't do too much with it. I have stayed with XP on my box and my netbook.
I have a Dell XPS630i with 2 GB ram and it's totally a whole new experience with 7.
We won't even discuss Vista..that was yesterday.
    :)
7 is for tomorrow; it's intuitive and has so many new useful tools like the snipping tool and ability to customize most everything; especially with some trusted third party software like Tuneup utilities.
My XP box began to have some bsods after Pinnacle hanging on install and threw out some drivers.
So, I seized the opportunity this long cold shut in weekend and upgraded to 7.
I'm just digging around in it and finding new toys all the time.
    Good stuff..
I was glad to find this forum.
    Thank you!
    Mark
