Hi Everyone,

I'm a recent (last weekend) convert to win7 from xp pro sp3, and all I can say is wow!

It's like the first time your new GF moved in, and rearranged your drawers. Where is everything?

Not to worry though I know it'll take time. I had found sevenforums late last year while I was helping my neice set-up her new system, and knew what a nice site this was.

I have already had occasion to work with Shawn Brink when I had some difficulty in siging-in, and he helped me out.

After I make my recovery disks, and do an HDD image burn I want to make sure I'm the admin on this gateway, and then network that xp system I mentioned earlier to it. If MS keeps their word I still have about 4years left on the ol' gal.

My Belarc report has a red X in front of the admin account, at least it isn't locked.

I have the Gateway Recovery Disks made, but will need to brush-up on the restore points.
