Issues While Tranferring Photos Onto Desktop From Phone

    Windows 7 Pro

For over a year, every time I connect the HDMI cable from my phone to my tower to transfer photos onto my hard drive, every photo, including photos that had been deleted from my phone, is duplicated on my computer screen. When I click on the duplicates, a screen pops up (see attachment). I then carefully highlight all of the "bad" photos, delete then transfer to Flickr. Every photo that I previously edited on my phone also appears but cannot be opened (edited photos can be sent via text from the phone).

I was using a Samsung and switched to an LG and the results were the same. I am finally getting around to posting on a forum as numerous online searches were of no help.

    Suggestions?

Don't you mean USB cable? You can't copy anything with a HDMI cable. I don't think phones have HDMI output anymore. Also computers only have HDMI output to a monitor. They don't normally have a HDMI input.

Sorry, I did mean USB cable.

And sorry for the delay as I thought that I set up to receive email messages when someone responds.

It appears that I may need to upgrade to 10.
