Question for Tablet User's only!

I am thinking of getting a 10" screen tablet for my wife who is bedridden with MS.
Talked to the Neurologist about one and he thought it was a great idea as it would stimulate her brain and increase her motor skills.

I just ran across this one....
New MID M1006 Google Android 2.2 10" 4GB 16:9 Touch Tablet PC Silver w/ WiFi | eBay

and need your input.
The Apple ones are way out of my price range and the less expensive ones are 7" screens.
Any and all help appreciated as I know nothing about what to look for.
TIA
Dennis

We've had a cheap "chinese" knock off tablet in our office for awhile. We also have 1 Apple iPad, 2 Samsung Galaxy Tab 7's, and 1 Samsung Galaxy 10's, and a coworker has a 7" blackberry playbook.

The cheapo pad is absolutely "awful" compared to any of our other tablets. The touchscreen sensitivity is horrible, it's often a "hacked/customized" version of the Android OS that either won't be patched and updated, or simply won't work properly with the Google marketplace (this is the issue we had). Everything is a hack and a kludge to try to make anything work. We cannot get normal updates as it's a hacked firmware.

We decided to get a tablet style device for xmas for the family. We went with an Asus eee pad Transformer 32GB 10.1" Android 3.2 tablet which was $399 from Amazon. Comparing specs to the tablet in question here, the eee pad transformer has 2x as much RAM, a faster processor, 8x as much flash storage, it's running Android 3.2 versus 2.2, the camera in the Asus is 5MP, versus 0.3MP on this one.

Edit: Found an outside review on this tablet; (not very positive, no pinch or 2 finger control on the resistive glass)

With tablets, you get what you pay for. Personally, with respect to tablets...in general I haven't really liked any of them. Honestly, I think they are a pain to work with. But a crappy knock off tablet, makes the experience even more miserable.

Edit 2: Listed on Amazon too; 4 reviews with average score of 1. Not good.

User's Desktop - question
I'm coming from Windows XP where we simply had one account and thus a single desktop. Now that we're using Windows 7 we've gone to two user accounts and this brings me to my question. I thought each user would have their own unique desktop; however when I (I'm the administrator) add a program or...
