    Battery capacity becoming stupid

i just turned on my HP laptop that was charged to 32% wich has a battery designed capacity of 5500mah and currently 4400-4600 mah
suddenly windows hibernates reason: battery critically low
i put it on charger and turn on turned out it was 0% and maximum capacity is now 3600mah.
rebooting, shutting down for days and even pulling battery out didnt help.
    any ideas?

You need a new battery obviously. What you described is what happens when a battery dies at the end of its life.

i think i would eventually change it once i get some $$$
    for xblade:
i didnt know what u want exactly
i downloaded battery meter gadget that shows some information on the desktop like battery charge, capacity, and how long it would last
there's also battery bar that shows charge and remaining time on the taskbar
