    which win 7 do i need


    hey guys am building a media center for my room and i was hopiong to use windows 7 but witch one would be best for the job ? and the specs of the system is 12gb of ddr3 ram intel core i7 bloomfield and 3 1tb hdds plus tv card and sound card and hd tv output card all in 1 card reader 2 sata dvd burners 850w psu and everest water cooling

    Just out of curiosity, what features in Ultimate or Enterprise (same thing except for activation methods) that are not available in Home Premium or Pro, are you planning to utilize?

    and with the looks of that list a few posts up ther is a big diffarenc in all copys but it is all upto you what 1 you want but i think am going with Ultimate for my media center 64bit os with everything i need

    I have the same curiosity!

    If you don't do backups over the network and the BitLocker thing, you don't need Ultimate only to use Media Center.

    Good luck with Ultimate, but I suggest to wait for Christmas sale or something like that.
