Temp folder getting filled with batch files

    Hello,

My temporary folder has been have batch files created in it every 15 seconds or so. My mouse is the arrow with the busy circle at 2'oclock of it constantly, so something is running. I checked my processes and they seemed to all be normal. I updated everything including windows.net 4 so I don't know what else to try :| Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Edit: it is Windows 7 64bit Home
    i3 Processor w/ 4gb ram
And the batch files all have been 6 digits numbers increasing in numbers so it would be like 178521 and the next one would be 178762 etc.

Edit edit: There are two conhost.exe running, don't know if that has anything to do with the issue

Start Task Manager. Click Processes Tab. Make sure the check box at the bottom that says "show processes from all users" is checked. Post a screen shot.

I would try a full scan with this first:
Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download

Are you running some kind of customized network software. I see a lot of copies of
igfxext running. Supposedly some malware disguises itself at that process:

igfxext.exe Windows process - What is it?

But I'd run Malwarebytes scan first. It won't erase or quarantine anything automatically, so it's a pretty safe scanner. See if it shows any problems.

On the malwarebytes site there are tutorials exactly how to update the database and run the scans.

That's an awful lot of processes. But what worries me most is that you're apparently running THREE different antivirus/antispyware apps simultaneously on your system. I see Comcast Antispy, eTrust Pest Patrol and Microsoft Security Essentials all running.

That's asking for trouble. Never install more than one antivirus software package on your computer. I'd personally tend toward keeping MSE and uninstalling the other two...

That's a good point. The thing about the .bat files is weird though. Kind of smacks of some kiddy hacker script. A real running program usually just calls ShellExecute() to launch programs.

OMG! WT...? Way too many processes for a laptop. I wonder what's in the bat files?

I wonder if he'll even be able to download MBAM?
