Custom user groups Win7 Pro...is it possible?

Is it possible to create a custom user group within Windows 7 Pro? Unfortunately the systems are not on a domain, and any solutions I've found thus far have been for domain environments.

The user account would be able to remove account lockouts and reset account passwords of users, but not administrators. Basically, I need a standard user account with this capability. Is this possible on standalone Win7 systems?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello V,

Yes, you are able to create a new group in Local Users and Groups (lusrmgr.msc). In Local Users, click on the Groups folder in the left pane, right click on a empty spot in the middle pane, and click on New Group. After creating the new group, you can add users to be a member of the new group.

    New tutorial for how:

User Group - Create New or Delete

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
