Windows 7 C: drive running out of room

Looking for a solution for the dilemma I'm in. My C: drive is 250GB.... It is down to
having 20gb available..... I have a second internal drive that is 650GB or I could purchase another bigger internal drive, either way. My question is, can I transfer
my system, files, etc from my C: drive over to my 650gb drive and if so how do
I do that. All I have found is transferring one computer to another. Suggestions
on how I go about this....... Thanks...

What is the purpose of the 650 GB internal drive? What is on it now and how much free space does it have.

You have about 230 GB on C. How much of that is Windows and how much is data?

It's easier to transfer data files than system files.

I'd think about getting data files off of C and then doing a general cleanup of C for whatever remains on it.

There are no data files on C. It's just the three program folders, the windows folder and the user folder.

I moved everything off the 650 gb drive, so it is now empty.

you say there is no data on your C drive---right click the 'users' folder and go to 'properties'--then post back with the 'size','size on disk' and 'Contains' info...like the attached screenshot

Life is good..... Cleaned up my C drive by moving the My Music which contained iTunes media music. Tried moving
My Documents also but Outlook did not like me doing that. Even when I gave it the new path when it asked, it was
still not happy, so I restored it back. I also turned off hibernation which I don't use and reduced the pagefile.sys size from 15.9 gb to 1 gb. C drive is now 177 gb Used 54 gb Free. Life is good.... No re-install.... YEA!!!!

    Thanks again for everyones help.....
