    How to Configure Windows 7 not to install a program


    Friends,

    I'm looking for ways to configure windows so that a particular program is never installed in the PC. Please help in understanding if there is a way to do so. Thanks in advance.

    You should be able to do it by using the Group Policy Editor.

    Hello Nimiprave, and welcome to Seven Forums. :)

    You could also use OPTION ONE in the tutorial below to prevent the installation of the program by not allowing the name of it's installation file with file extension to run on the computer.
