Autorun not working

    I'm not sure what else to suggest as well other than manually running what you want on the optical drives through the Computer window instead.

    As for the bootable Acronis disc, it should work fine to boot from since it's outside the OS as long as you have your BIOS boot priority settings set to boot from the DVD drive first and the HDD second, and you press a key at boot to boot from the DVD when prompted.

    Has this problem with Autorun always been there since the PC was new? I see it was released in Jun 2011. If so it should be under waranty, perhaps the Multi-drive came defective.
    Something to try is SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
