ok i'll bump this thread later after i get the drive
college winterim break starts 22 and ends 15 so i'm guessing on the 15 or 16th i'll be back installing the drive.

I have physically installed and hooked up my additional hard drive, a sata3 1 tb drive. My booting drive, a 320 is a sata3 as well so i have no master/slave switches. How do i make my computer recognize the 2nd drive and format it for use? When I boot up nothing shows up in My Computer Help...
