Ribbon of folders on desktop

    Is it a Star Dock? If so then just uninstall it.

    That is a Vista taskbar, and it looks like those are all the user folders.
    Not sure how he got them lined up like that, it's almost like a custom quick launch toolbar, but those are usually on the other end of the taskbar.

    it was a toolbar. I had him right click on the top of it and it gave him the choice to close. Don't know how he got it but we got rid of it. Thanks for the posts.
