how to unreserve Reserved hard drive partition

Yesterday whilst installing a new secondary hard drive and allocating a drive letter to i. I managed to "reserve" my D drive partition. Now I can see from properties that it has some data on it, 38mg of a 100mg partition. I cannot see the contents of this partition.
How do I unreserve this partition please. something simple I hope.

That was created during your Windows 7 install, if you let Windows format the drive for you, instead of doing it manually with DISKPART. I believe you can simply delete it and then resize your C partition, but wait for someone else to answer or confirm. I use DISKPART, so I never have had the utility partition created.

    That is normal.

Might as well leave it as is.
