Can I run a .bat on my hard drive when I insert a DVD movie?

I though that I could just go to the autoplay settings and choose to run a program when a DVD movie is inserted, but alas I can only chose to play it or open it with windows explorer. I did a google search as well as here on sevenforums and it seems to be a pretty hard thing to do. Maybe there is a little third party application I can use?

I have a .bat file on my c drive that I want to run each time I put a DVD movie into my computer DVD drive.

You could follow this tutorial. Tested. Works on windows 7.
Just sure to "Run as administrator"

Thank you rustberger for the idea. I gave it a try, however the application won't let you add a bat file to the autoplay menu. See pictures. Maybe there is a way to change a bat file to an exe file? Thanks for the suggestion.

Just type the path for your bat file in the Application box.
