    iexplorer 8 error (x64)

    Hi everybody,

I installed Windows 7 x64 Enterprise edition yesterday and I got different errors at least 100 times since then. I'm getting errors of "Windows Live Messenger", Sidebar, Winrar and mostly "Internet Explorer 8" Here are some reports from Event Viewer. Any help is appreciated.

Good question. It was a fresh install but there was something strange. I used to have Vista x64 on my C: but when I decide to install Win7, I even deleted and recreated "C:" new partition again. But when installation was complate, there was boot loader for "Win Vista" and "Win7". In Win7 I deleted the waiting time and chose Win7. Now there is no boot loader.

Got it from a friend. DVD.

This could explain a fair bit. Legality issues aside, your friend could've very well have downloaded a dodgy ISO of Win7.
