    Event ID 100

Looking in my event viewer on windows 7 I can see the last few boots that an event ID 100 is not being generated. My boot has improved a lot after some tweaks so I am wondering whether if the boot is problem free and quick enough then maybe Windows 7 doesn't generated an event ID 100?

I would prefer to see one generated everytime so I can see how long the boot took. Historically all the event ID 100s have either had warning, critical or error next to them in the list.

    Many thanks,
    Wayne

See this post for details about boot errors:

Hope this clarifies some things for you :)

Thank you very much. It looks like good and fast boots aren't logged then. Only when a minor threshold is exceeded. Good to know!

    Cheers,
