how to do repair install with start up repair infinite loop?

    hey guys
i kinda screwed up my gfs toshiba laptop
anyways it's in the start up repair infinite loop but i think i found the perfect fix i need where i can keep her files on the computer too
i'm trying to do this Repair Install
i tried doing this Startup Repair Infinite Loop Recovery
    but didnt work
anyways when i boot from windows 7 cd and try to upgrade from there. it says there is a compatibility report. it tells me to remove the cd then restart the upgrade so windows loads normally <- but mine will just start in the start up repair infinite loop

any suggestions guys? just looking to keep files that are on the laptop and get rid of the infinite loop
sorry if this is the wrong place to post this

       Information
Boot up using the Startup Repair CD or Windows 7 DVD. (not the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disk) If you have a Netbook, you will need a CD/DVD drive.
NOTE: Make sure no USB drives are plugged in.
Do not use a USB Pendrive for Startup Repair.
    startup repair disc-create

    Do a Strartup Repair:
    Startup Repair
Note: You may need to do startup repair 3 to 4 times.

checked my partitions and only have one active
then when i restart and come back i'm still stuck in this infinite loop

Will it boot into Safe Mode or windows?
You may need to use http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/ on a bootable CD or USB drive and copy the files to an external device and do a factory recovery or new install.

after that screen it says windows is loading and goes straight to the loop

Hirens has a boat load of recovery tools. I thought you could use one to see the hard drive and save files. It also has a mini XP OS on it too.
You have to hit F8 at just the right time. It is best to start tapping it when the computer starts coming back, i.e. the OEM logo or whatever shows up first.

Alternatively, you can download Partition Wizard Bootable CD , burn in a blank CD, insert the newly written CD in the DVD drive, and power off your computer.

Now Power on .... press and hold F2 (as you are saying that your boot options key is F2; you haven't provided your motherboard info or brand in your system specs ) to go to the boot options, select the DVD drive using the scroll arrow keys, hit enter to boot from the CD .

Let the CD to boot ... when prompted, select 1 for resolutions ... and you will be in the Partition Wizard's GUI . Select the 100 MB System Reserved partition in the partition's list .... go to DISK > Rebuild MBR .

(the snip is taken from a virtual machine)

You may need to do it for a few times, but it will rebuild the boot files, for sure.

I selected the partition named *:System but when i go to disk then try to click Rebuild MBR it's shaded grey and won't let me
I selected disk 1 then rebuild mbr from there about 4 times already
it says it applied all pending changes successfully after each time
but how would i rebuild mgr on my system if it is greyed out?

    here are my specs

sorry guys im not the best with computers i really appreciate the fast responses

Can you post a camera snap of PW drive map with listings? System partiiton should be marked Active before click on it's HD to Rebuild MBR from Disk tab.

This may preclude the need to run Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times from Win7 DVD or System Repair Disk to repair or rewrite the System boot files to System partition.

If this regimen fails, move the Active flag to Win7 partition itself, but we need to see it to see that there are no complications, e.g. Logical partition that cannot be converted to Primary to accept Active flag due to 3 Primaries already existing.

    Here's some camera pics

i've done this about 6 or 7 times already
when i restart afterwards it still goes back into the loop

Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times
    i have already did that

and not sure how i would make Repair CD - System Repair Disk
i finally got into safe mode but when it went right back into the loop again
not sure how i can make a repair disk if the computer can't get to the start menu?
