Not sure if laptop I'm repairing is using Windows 7 x64 or 32...
It's a Dell Inspiron 1564 with an Intel i3 CPU. On the back it says Windows 7 Premium Home OA. I've Googled and the specs I've found suggest that it's 64 bit Windows but I thought it would've been labelled as such on the back? It doesn't boot up into Windows due to errors on the hard-drive and I'm using chkdsk in an attempt to repair it but I'm using a Windows 7 32 bit installation cd, not the 64 bit one. Will this make any difference to chkdsk?
