    Weird app icons


    dont know what happened but after i installed this trial icon thing my icons now look like this ........ how do i fix it ? everthing runs fine on my pc just bothers my eyes looking at them

    tryed fixing them on my own but i can't figure it out

    what theme, as you could match the folders and start orb etc,

    To add to what booh said, what "trial icon thing" did you install. If you want the original icons back uninstall it at run this to reset your system files - SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
    It looks like your using a custom theme also so you will need to re run the theme patcher after running the scan

    edit - unless the icons are a part of the theme of course

    ill try the sfc in cmd prompt happened when i tried a software called iconpackger and changed some icons but found out it wasn't free so i uninstalled it and now my icons are messed up so i'm going to try SFC to reset my system files , will report back whether this fixed it or not

    its best to avoid iconpackager ,it seems to lead to issues

    the best /easiest way to change icons ,folders etc is to use 7tsp,

    7 Theme Source Patcher

    then find a 7tsp pack that you like or one that matches the theme you already have.

    What was the result of the SFC /SCANNOW. It may need to be run up to 3 times until it reports "no integrity violations".
    As Booh said icon packager does nothing but cause issues. Do you have any backups/system images to revert back to before you installed it. You could first try a system restore to before you had these issues.

    ealierest system restore i have is before i installed direct x on 12/28 think i installed it on the 29 or later after i installed direct x not sure but i think il'l try system restore because its still there

    EDIT: ok system restore fixed thnx and got a question is there a way to change the way my mouse crusier looks also?
