Could someone tell me if a re-install from a system image file on my notebook is as good as a clean install from say a retail disk.
I can not format all my drive and start a fresh. Can my System image file become glitchy or infected with a virus.???:huh:

I have downloaded an mcml app (an mcl file), but can't figure out how to install it. In Media Center 2005, I could just drop it into the 'Media Center Programs' in the Start Menu and it would appear in media center. In seven, there is no such directory. How do I install it?
