    how do you hide files beyond the basic?


    So I currently use the basic hide file option for files I don't want others to see if I let them use my computer, but I'm wondering how I can go the extra mile. Is there a way to further hide it if someone clicks the "Show hidden files and folders" in control panel? So it is still hidden when that option is chosen?


    Also, is there a way to password protect the files?

    Nope, just an outline of what I'm gonna do to yours, and I can't have her finding out. That would ruin all the fun......

My son has tech knowledge, but my daughter doesn't have. Both of them are use my laptop. my office essential files and folders in it so how do i protect them. If they delete them my Bose will kick my A**. So how do i do it.
In Win 7 64 bit explorer, can I make it show me only folders or only files? Another way of saying this: can I make it hide folders, or hide files?
