    Blue ? on desktop icon for backup external hard drive


    Hello

    I just noticed this on my desktop. I was curious as to what it means and how to remove it. I can access the drive no problem.

    Could you post a screenshot of this to help clarify what you mean by blue? :)

    If you mean blue text for it's name, then that means that it is compressed.

    Ah, ok. The blue question mark on the shortcut indicates "unknown drive".

    Since it's a shortcut, you might see if you may be able to manually change the icon to get rid of it.
    That, or try creating a new shortcut for the drive.
