System Freezing, C2 Transition
OK so here is my problem over the past few days I have noticed my system beginning to sputter and freeze for random periods of time. This freezing effects the entire system not just one particular application, including network traffic. As far as the network traffic is concerned, get a very high latency for the duration of the "attack". I am thinking this may be due to the system losing track of the system timer and by the time it finds the proper packet for a ICMP request, it thinks it is due to high latency. Initially it appeared that a large number of services where being brought up and down continuously, particularly Computer Browser which I believe is legacy code. Once borking my system almost beyond repair I simply formatted and started from scratch again. The same problems persisted however this time I decided to monitor the system a bit more closely. I have found that any time this sputtering occurs I am getting a large number of C2 Transitions per second. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this.
