    Show Logon Screen?

First, I don't know where to post this, so it's ok if this thread will be moved. :)

    So here's my question:
-- I only have one account on my Windows and it has no password.
-- Is there a way to show the logon on screen when the Windows boots up? (The screen when you will type the password.)
-- Or, the only way is to add a password?
-- Also, can my password just be blank if there is no other way? Like the previous OS's.

Thanks for those who will reply.

Hello Gatgat, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Unfortunately, with only one user account, you will need to create a password for the user account to have a log on screen at boot.

    Thanks for welcoming.

Also, thanks for answering. I'll add password then. Can I add a blank password?

Nar, it will have to have at least one character or number. You basically have a blank password now.

I thought I can add just a blank password like what I did when I used Windows XP.

    Oh well, thanks a bunch!

    You're most welcome.

If you had more than one user account, then you could have blank passwords and still get a log on screen at boot. It's when you only have one user account that it's required that the user account has a password with at least one character or number to have the log on screen at boot.
